With fast developments taking place in agriculture, India is at the threshold of another revolution.  The states need to identify their core strengths and draft appropriate policies for sustainable development of agriculture. It is a happy augury that some previous Agriexpo events have created awareness about the unlimited potential of Uttar Pradesh in agri & food sector and have helped in technology transfer and exposure to latest products and services. Buoyed by the success of these AgriExpo events and in consultation with the State Government, CARD has made it an annual feature. The main objective of the program is to facilitate the exchange of latest scientific and technical information and promote cooperation in all aspects of agricultural development with focus on improving productivity, quality, post-harvest management, marketing and trade related issues.
